Privacy policy

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The only thing it collects is a contact form you chose to fill in, and this page says exactly where that goes.

Section 1

What this policy covers

1.1This website

This policy covers Awiztec Technologies as the operator of this website, and it covers two different things: what happens to information you send through the site, and what happens to your organisation's data while we are building software for you. The second is the part most clients actually care about, and it is section 6.

1.2Who we are

Trading name
Awiztec Technologies
Place of business
Kozhikode, Kerala, India
Contact
contact@awiztec.com

Section 2

What this website collects

One form, four fields, and nothing else. There is no account to create and nothing to log in to.

2.1The contact form

The contact form asks for your name, your email address, your company, and your message. All four are sent only when you submit the form, and the company field is optional.

We use them to reply to you and to have the conversation you started. We do not add you to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.

2.2What the page itself does not do

  • No account, no login, no profile.
  • No form field is pre-filled from anywhere, because nothing about you is stored between visits.
  • Nothing you type is transmitted until you press the submit button.

Section 3

Cookies and analytics: none

3.1There is nothing to consent to

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics — no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Meta pixel, no heatmap recorder, no A/B testing script, no consent-management platform. Nothing on these pages watches what you do on them.

Why there is no cookie banner

Because there are no cookies. A banner asking permission to set nothing would be theatre. If that ever changes, the banner arrives in the same release as the cookie, and this section will say what the cookie is for.

3.2Fonts are served from this domain

The two typefaces this site uses are bundled and served from the same domain as the pages. That is a deliberate choice: a webfont loaded from a third-party CDN sends your IP address to that CDN on every page view, whether or not you interact with anything. Ours does not, because there is no request to make.

Section 4

Who else handles a form submission

4.1Web3Forms

The contact form is submitted directly from your browser to Web3Forms, a form-relay service, which forwards it to us by email. This means Web3Forms receives the four fields you filled in, along with the technical details any web request carries, before we do.

Web3Forms publishes its own privacy policy at https://web3forms.com/privacy. If you would rather not use a relay at all, email us directly at contact@awiztec.com — that reaches the same inbox with one fewer party in the path.

Section 5

Hosting and server logs

5.1Standard access logs

Serving a web page produces a server log entry: the address requested, the time, a response code, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. This is how every web server on the internet works, and it is what lets an operator tell a real outage from a quiet afternoon. It is not analytics and it is not linked to anything you submitted.

Retention
Logs are kept for the provider's standard window and are not exported, aggregated, or used to build a profile of any visitor.

Section 6

Your data while we are building

The section that matters if you are hiring us rather than reading us. It is the same answer the FAQ on the homepage gives, in more detail.

6.1As few of us as the work allows

We build against seeded or anonymised data wherever the work allows it. Where it does not — a migration, a defect that only reproduces against real records — we take the narrowest access that lets the job get done, for as long as it takes to do it.

6.2Access is revoked at handover

Every account, key, token and credential we hold on your systems is revoked when the engagement ends, and the handover pack lists them so you can verify it rather than take our word for it. Revoking our access is a line item on the handover checklist, not a favour to ask for afterwards.

6.3Confidentiality and NDAs

Everything we learn about your business during an engagement is confidential, and stays confidential after it ends. We will sign your NDA — say so before the first call if you would rather have it in place from the start.

6.4Where we are a processor rather than a controller

When we handle your customers' or employees' personal data during a project, you decide what is collected and why, and we act on your instructions. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 that makes you the Data Fiduciary and us a Data Processor acting for you; the GDPR calls the same split controller and processor.

Section 7

How long anything is kept

7.1Enquiries

An enquiry that does not become a project is deleted from our inbox once the conversation has clearly ended. One that does become a project is kept with the project record, because a contract needs its own paper trail.

7.2Project material

Working copies of client data on our machines are removed at handover. Contracts, quotations and invoices are kept as long as tax and company law requires, and no longer.

7.3Deletion on request

Ask us to delete what we hold about you and we will, other than records we are legally required to keep. Write to contact@awiztec.com.

Section 8

What we share, and what we sell

8.1Nothing is sold

We do not sell personal data, we do not trade it, and we do not pass it to advertising networks. There is no advertising on this site to feed.

8.2The complete list of sub-processors

  • Web3Forms — relays a contact form submission to our inbox (section 4).
  • Our hosting provider — serves these pages and holds the access logs (section 5).
  • Our email provider — holds the message once it arrives.

That is the whole list for this website. Any sub-processor introduced by a project of yours is named in that project's own agreement, because it is your decision rather than ours.

Section 9

Your rights

9.1Under the DPDP Act 2023

  • Access — ask what personal data of yours we hold and what we are doing with it.
  • Correction and completion — have inaccurate or incomplete data fixed.
  • Erasure — have it deleted, other than what we must keep by law.
  • Grievance redressal — raise a complaint and get an answer (section 10).
  • Nomination — name someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you cannot.

9.2If you are in the EU or the UK

We answer requests from EU and UK clients to the GDPR equivalent standard: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, answered within one month. We do not treat the location of the person asking as a reason to answer differently.

Section 10

Grievance contact

10.1How to raise one

Write to contact@awiztec.com with "Privacy" in the subject line and tell us what you want done. We will acknowledge it and tell you what we are doing about it. If we cannot resolve it, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

Section 11

Changes to this policy

11.1When it changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of the page changes with it. A change that affects what we collect or who processes it will be told to active clients directly rather than left on a page for them to notice.
